Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates are fully-integrated, PEZA-registered industrial-anchored estates located in Batangas and Cebu.

Spanning over 1,400 hectares of land, these Economic Estates offer industries and other businesses sustainable and self-sufficient ecosystems complete with built-in water and power utilities as well as on-site construction services.

Milestones

West Cebu Estate’s Beginnings

Aboitiz Group sets up a 60% share of Cebu Industrial Park Developers, Inc. (CIPDI).

CIPDI Joint Venture with Aboitiz Group

Cebu Industrial Park Developers, Inc. (CIPDI), a joint venture between the Aboitiz Group through ACOLand and the Tsuneishi Group of Japan, began operations. Its initial project was the 202-hectare West Cebu Industrial Park (now West Cebu Estate) in Balamban, Cebu.

The Launch of ACOLand

Aboitiz consolidated its land and real estate assets under ACOLand. The company was launched as a division of Metaphil, Inc. – the construction arm of the Aboitiz Group and one of the largest industrial contractors in the country.

The Birth of MEZ2

ACOLand partnered with Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) for the development of Mactan Export Processing Zone 2 (now MEZ2 Estate).

The Evolution of ACOLand to AboitizLand

ACOLand introduced itself as AboitizLand, strengthening Cebu’s major role in the export market with the development of West Cebu Industrial Park (West Cebu Estate) and Mactan Economic Zone 2 (MEZ2 Estate).

The Rise of iMEZ

The iMEZ, a five-storey IT building was launched within Pueblo Verde in MEZ2, Lapu-Lapu City.

AboitizLand Obtains LIMA Land

Industrial park developer LIMA Land, Inc. is acquired by AboitizLand.

First Retail Outlet in VisMin

Within MEZ2, The Outlets at Pueblo Verde opened as the first outlet retail shopping destination in the VisMin region, offering global brands at a discount.

The Expansion of LIMA Technology Center

LIMA Land expands LIMA Technology Center into a 485-hectare industrial park located in Lipa-Malvar, Batangas, signifying Aboitiz’ entry into the national real estate scene.

The Largest Outlet Mall and Football Field

Rising within LIMA, The Outlets at Lipa opened as the largest outlet mall destination in Luzon. It is where you will also find the Aboitiz Pitch, the largest artificial turf field in Luzon with a massive total playing surface of 106 x 92 meters.

LIMA Exchange and The Villages at Lipa

The Villages at Lipa and LIMA Exchange were launched within the LIMA Estate.

The Emergence of Aboitiz InfraCapital

To strengthen Aboitiz Group’s approach to expanding various businesses around existing resources and harnessing inherent synergies, the Industrial and Commercial business units of AboitizLand strategically transferred to Aboitiz InfraCapital.

LIMA CBD Emerges

LIMA began the 104-hectare expansion of LIMA Estate for additional industrial lot inventory and the transformation of its 30-hectare central business district.
